Green Deer - Red Deer River Clean Up

Every spring, Red Deerians come out to clean the shoreline along the Red Deer River removing debris that has accumulated over the winter. Join the Red Deer River Clean up and help us keep our river and shoreline clean. At this annual spring initiative, volunteers from across the city join together to help keep our river and shoreline clean and safe for all.

The 2017 event will take place on:

When: Sunday, June 4, 2017
Time: 12:30pm - 3:30pm (BBQ and prizes to follow)
Where: Kerry Wood Nature Centre
6300 - 45 Avenue, Red Deer

Everyone who participates will enjoy the rewarding experience that comes from working together and "leaving it better than you found it". The event will end with a barbecue and a draw for great prizes.

There is no need to pre-register, but please wear appropriate footwear and bring gloves. Children 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult. Certificates are available upon request.
