Red Deer Mini Maker Faire is a community festival bringing together engineering, arts, crafts, music, inventions, science and performance by a variety of makers. This gathering is designed to promote idea sharing, learning, workshop participation, and hands-on creative activities.
We particularly love exhibits that are interactive and show the processes behind them. We want to make this day memorable for you and for all the visitors. If you have a great project but are not sure how to make it come to life don’t let that stop you from entering. We will be happy to work with you to make your display engaging!
The first step to participating in the Maker Faire is to submit an entry that tells us about yourself and your project. Entries can be submitted from individuals, groups such as hobbyist clubs, schools, commercial makers, crafters, startups, and companies.
There is no fee to participate in the Maker Faire if you are not selling or promoting an organization, product or service. If you are a commercial maker, or non-profit group, booth fees start at $50 and availability is limited. Click [here] for more information on benefits and costs related to exhibiting as a commercial maker or non-profit. Startups and larger companies can also participate in various ways.
