1. May 5 to 10 - Food Forest Design and Installation Course - Planting of the Canada 150 Edible Forest and Pollinator Garden for the Piper Creek Restoration Ag Project
Location: Red Deer College and the Piper Creek Project Community Garden (project site)

2. Spring / Summer / Fall - Site Tours, Workshops, and Field Days to plant beaver habitat and eco-buffer

 


2016 Workshops and Field Days completed

  1. April 6 - 10am - 2pm (lunch included) Work Bee - willow / dogwood / poplar harvest for the Piper Creek Restoration Ag Project
    Location: Oxbows Off-Leash Dog Park (40th Ave and Delburne Highway, south Red Deer)
     
  2. April 17 - 10am - 2pm (lunch provided) Field Day - planting of willow / dogwood / poplar at the Piper Creek site (Piper Creek Community Garden)
    Location: Piper Creek Community Garden site (40th Ave - immediately south of the Landfill, Red Deer)
     
  3. May 15 - 10:30am - 2pm (lunch provided) - X-Stream Science workshop at the  Piper Creek site (Piper Creek Community Garden)
