ED Talk - Waste Management & the Circular Economy

Join us for the first in a series of casual evening sessions exploring Sustainability in the City of Red Deer.

Learn more about the benefits of Red Deer’s new cart program on Tuesday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Red Deer College’s Alternative Energy Lab. The City of Red Deer’s Waste Management Superintendent Janet Whitesell will provide more information on why the changes are being made to how we handle residential waste, how the transition is going, and what is next for waste management in Red Deer. She will be joined by Christina Seidel and Lindsay Seidel-Wassenaar from the Recycling Council of Alberta who will talkabout system-wide opportunities in how we handle waste in Alberta, like Extended Producer Responsibility and the Circular Economy.

Free to attend, everyone welcome!
