Moose Hide Campaign - Red Deer

On Thursday, May 16 at 5:30pm, Common Ground Garden Project and Indigenous community members will be hosting a local Moose Hide Campaign event at the Common Ground Garden site - 5581 45 St, Red Deer (a block west of Troubled Monk Brewery).

As an outdoor event we encourage people to bring their camping chairs and blankets. We will have a fire going throughout the evening as well. We will spend our evening sitting around the Medicine Wheel Garden on site!

Our evening will include:
Opening Ceremony – Elder Lynn Jonasson
Speakers – Thomas Martell & Respected Guests
Traditional Drum and Song – Dean Johnson
Walk along the River – Bring your drums and rattles while we walk!

We end our evening with Moose Stew and Bannock! We encourage people to bring a side dish to share at our meal. Please remember your feasts kits.
