This is the fifth of five introductory timber framing workshops to complete the timber frame barn raising at the Piper Creek Restoration Agriculture Project! Led by seasoned timber framer, Wayne Froese (Top Peg Timber Frame Construction) and guest instructors, you will learn the history and basics of timber frame construction and get hands-on experience to help build a full-scale timber frame barn dubbed, "The Water Shed" at the end of September*

Workshop #5 - ReFraming the WaterShed (subject to change)
The final agenda is subject to weather conditions - as such, details include review of the previous workshops, assembling and raising of the barn walls (bents), securing bents to the screw pile foundation, final joinery connections and reinforcements, and roof installation. Participation in workshop five requires full registration in the workshop series to ensure safety and competency of workers / volunteers as well as the best educational experience possible.
